Where has the time gone?

Well, I had Bachelorette round 2 this weekend. Go me. I have the best friends ever. period. over and out.

Tomorrow I fly to Fla to get my sis from school. Can you believe she's already done with her first year? I can't. I also can't believe that the wedding is almost here. Seriously. I feel like it was close to a year ago and now its like a week & 1/2 away. Well, we are finishing up the last things and getting super excited. I moved most of my stuff into Drew's....and....its going to be a long few months until we can find something bigger. I will be living out of boxes for a while...

Anyways, I'll try to update some this week but I am pretty busy. Saturday, I have 2 weddings to go to!!!! Can't wait to see you guys!

I am a Commercial veteran

Well, you may know who i am. I'm kinda a big deal LOL. no but seriously, one of the perks of working at a tv station is getting to be in commercials aka getting out of the office :) today was one of those days!! we laugh because i think i am in like 5 commercials that are running right now...i am going to miss that office and all the people who work there. we have been interviewing people for stuff and my boss always says she is very selective about who she hires because we're a family. and it's so true....we really are a family.

Sorry it has been a while between blogs. It's not lack of material; it's lack of time. We have one more thing to work on for the wedding - the programs. That should be...time consuming. We have officially gotten our marriage license woohoo. That was ordeal...or finding a parking spot was at least.

My bridesmaids got their dresses in. Kelly called me tonight and said she got hers altered and it fits and all that fun stuff so i am getting excited! Our first guest for the wedding arrives tomorrow...my grandma. I have to give up my room for her so I have been insanely moving things out of there all week/cleaning up until 3 minutes ago....yes, i have too much stuff. and my car is completely packed for my trip on saturday so for now, i can have no passengers..sorry guys! lol I was planning to work on it last weekend but I had to go interview and visit Drew which is good since I got the job. I haven't even gotten a chance to think about how awesome it is to not have to worry about finding a job lol.

Anyways, i apologize for the rambling...i am exhausted and caffeinated...never a good combo. I am going out of town on Saturday and to pick up my sis from college on Tues so I wont be back until Friday so I'll try to update as the last minute wedding things come up...hope everyone is excited! can't wait to see you guys!

God Provides...

Well, I went to my 2nd interview today....about 30 minutes later they called and HIRED ME! So I have a job once we get back from our honeymoon! Yay. Talk about taking the pressure off! So I spent most of the afternoon getting lost, turning around, and attempting to take a drug test - which after 2 hours mission was accomplished.

I haven't eaten since 9 and i am finally starting to get hungry but i am waiting to go eat dinner with amanda while we wait for drew to get home for work. We will all go and celebrate tonight yay!

We also have an appointment with our realtor tomorrow to see another house but now that I have a job we can look more seriously at houses!

Anyways I am so excited....also 3 weeks til the wedding!

one month from today...

well it's officially spring weather...finally. i had dinner/drinks on the Jose's patio so I was happy! I had to celebrate...my 2nd interview (NEXT FRIDAY)!!!!! Yes, I just interviewed yesterday and she told me it'd be a week or 2...and she called me today. So I'll take that as a good sign & answer to prayers so thank you everyone who prayed for me!! God is good. Hopefully this will work out but my main prayer was that I would leave feeling confident in myself. I don't feel like I interview well (which is not my personality at all). Drew & I also got to look at houses so that was fun!

I also had a BLAST at my bridal portraits. I felt so much like a princess (and I'm not a princess girl). The whole day was a blast. Everything came together amazingly and I can't wait to see the pics!! Also, I need to give a shoutout to Drew's cousin, Danielle. She made my amazing earrings (see pic about). If you come to the wedding, you can see them in real life. They pull everything together and are absolutely perfect. I could not have picked out anything better so THANK YOU Danielle. If any of you need/want jewelry made, I'll put you in contact with her. She does an absolutely amazing job and is starting up a business for this!

Well, I am exhausted from all my traveling plus I started training my replacement today (who is from Memphis). Isn't it funny how God works?

On the road again.

Well, I guess I'll be heading to Memphis a lot sooner than I thought to go to an interview. I don't really want to talk about it because I'm already SUPER nervous/stressed/anxious about it. I know I shouldn't be - if it doesnt work out it wasn't meant to be - but I can't help it. I feel so much pressure (my own fault) to get a job. Drew is being super supportive and patient but in my own mind, I know I need a job to help us survive.....oh well. Please pray that if it is supposed to work out it will, that I will be able to communicate well & slowly, and that I will calm down and quit stressing myself out. My biggest downfall is how easily & how much I get stressed out. My stomach is a mess and I am so frustrated at myself for being stressed.

My boss called me into her office today and she started crying because I'm "really leaving" and it has finally set in (for me too) so of course I started crying. This is such a mixed emotions time of life. I am so happy to be getting married to Drew and so sad to be leaving my job, friends, and family but I have to grow up sometime right?

On a lighter note..Drew & I have been blessed to receive a bunch of gifts & money. I've come home many nights this week to find something from bed, bath, & beyond. It's such a nice surprise!! :)

I was looking forward to staying home this weekend after being gone 2 weekends in a row and now this will be a 3rd but I'm happy to see Drew. Plus he is coming in for Easter so I'll get to see him a lot.

We are also semi-looking at houses. The house I really liked had a contracting pending on it so I'll take that as God has a different plan for us. While I'm down there, I think we'll try to look at some more houses. I'm excited because I didnt think I'd get to look at them with him. I think it will be fun to do together. We aren't dead set on buying a house but just looking to see what's out there.

Anyways, prayers are greatly appreciated. Sorry for the sappy/stressed/happy blog tonight...It's been a long week and I am sick and tired...so next time will be more cheery :)
