& that's the way the cookie crumbles...

well, i decided to no longer give myself an option: I AM working out. period. over and out. So I have 2 days in a row...mainly because I'm hoping this will help me sleep. I have also been back on weight watchers for about a week. i am a huge fan of weight watchers. It's SO easy to do and the weight comes out quickly and stays off.

Florist has been booked. I'm using someone that my friend used and I love her work! We got the envelopes back from the printer and bought cute green stamps for them (my colors are black & green).

well off to watch american idol. i really like megan corkrey...she's adorable. well, and kris allen because he's from my amazing state!

Bachelor Blah Blah Blah

I'll tell you something - I am OVER this guy.

I still watch the show, of course, but I am beyond over him.

I, like most of America, have read Reality Steve's blog realitysteve.com for the bachelor spoilers and basically he's a jerk and so is ABC. I'm interested to see if what Reality Steve predicts is right and so I have to watch the show (hah). Which means ABC wins. But if he is, then I don't think I can watch the show anymore. It's just ridiculous. He is a father and should be a role model to his son.

So if you don't want to know what happens - QUIT reading.

According to Reality Steve, Jason picks Melissa, dumps Melissa in the after the rose ceremony (which is why the previews say it is so intimate/private, there are no guests blahblahblah) and goes to Molly. Listen dude, if you break up with Melissa you didn't have to do it on National TV...unless, of course, ABC made you do it. In which case ABC is ridiculous....which is why I work for the competitor :) hah.

This also sets it up quite nicely for Melissa to be the next Bachelorette. And if she so chooses to be on that show I think she's crazy. Just bow out gracefully and let everyone else think he's the bad guy.

And if Reality Steve is wrong...or if ABC hired him to stir up a little trouble aka ratings. I still think Melissa will win. Basically, I have spent way too much time thinking about the Bachelor and all the girls in the office spend Tuesday mornings discussing this sad reality tv show.

So, although this is not related to our wedding, it definitely has to do with relationships. I think I will have to write about other things in this blog because we are starting to get to the point being mostly done with the planning - YAY! Tomorrow I am meeting with another florist. And I am hoping she's awesome...other than that, I get to see Drew this weekend for my brother's baseball tourney and I have my bridal shower coming up soon - got the invite in the mail today and they are so cute :) Well, I've been having crazy dreams lately so I hope I can sleep tonight!

Beautiful Days

The weather has been absolutely wonderful here. I'm loving it. It makes me want to go tanning, buy spring clothes, and get a pedicure.

I love Spring! I found out the time changes March 8th and I am so excited. I am meant to be a beach bum.

Well, we are on the hunt for a MOB dress and it's pretty much very difficult. So if anyone has any suggestions for us, please let me know.

Also, I want to start practicing/learning photography so if anyone needs/wants any pictures taken, please let me know. I am also trying to learn photoshop. I would love for this to eventually become a side job so I need to practice :)

Happy Weekend! Why are they always so short?

Now I'm trying to figure out what I want me flowers to be. I've met with one florist and will be meeting with another Sunday & Tuesday. So wish me luck.

bye bye bye

well, I had to leave Drew today. It was quite sad. Everytime I leave, it gets harder and harder...which I guess is good since the wedding is getting closer & closer. I looked through my calendar and I have something every weekend until the the weekend after the wedding because we'll be on the honeymoon.

we had pre-marital counseling today. i didn't know what to expect so i guess it went fine. we are doing the taylor johnson temperament analysis so I had to fill something out for how I think I am and then for how I think Drew is and vice versa. I love things like that because I love to learn about personalities etc but I hate stuff like that because my answers vary depending on the situation. For example: Q: Are you a blunt person, who says cutting remarks (something like this) A: yes, I am a blunt person but I'm not usually blunt unless you ask my opinion & I don't walk around seeing who I can hurt with my cutting remarks. So, see? It depends. Basically I realized that Drew has a lot better qualities than I do - patience, understanding, compassion, calm etc.

we picked out the tuxes and we are going with something a little different (I've actually seen it a few times lately so I guess it's the new thing?) - which I LOVE. It took some convincing on Drew's part but once he tried it on, he agreed. He actually surprised me because I thought it was out of the question & he brought it up to the lady and she agreed with me...Yay for females working at the tux shop haha. So then he tried it on & voila - check that off the list.

i'm not a big valentines day girl. sooo we decided not to do anything and to save the money for my unemployment phase which hopefully will exist for like a week. anyways, he got me something & a really sweet card. look at him. :)

we looked at houses, just for fun, when I was down there. Just to see prices, neighborhoods, etc. Since I don't have a job it really puts a damper on actually buying a house but at least now we know whats out there. I didn't fall in love with anything but there are a few neighborhoods that I really liked. we will probably just rent next year unless I get a job down there like ASAP.

speaking of a job, please pray for me about this. i feel like the more prayers i get the better i'll handle it. otherwise I may just turn into a big ball of stress, worry, and anxiety which is no fun. i hate everything about looking for a job - updating the resume, interviews, etc.

well since i decided to write a novel for my blog tonight, i'm going to go to bed.

some wedding stuff & some not-so-wedding stuff

well, I got fitted for my dress last night which is awesome because the weather was awful (again) and we were supposed to get tornadoes. The same storm hit Oklahoma City and 8 people lost their lives...anyways, like I said I got fitted and there are just some minor alterations. I didn't really want to get it done this early but because of my bridal portraits I have to - I'd like to loose 10 lbs...so hopefully that'll happen.

We switched out the original table cloths for something much much prettier so I'm excited! Things are really coming together. I'm pretty much positive that this will be an amazing wedding (not that I'm biased or anything :) haha )

I'm going to see Drew this weekend & we're going premarital counseling on Monday - I'll let you know how that goes...I'm not too thrilled but we both definitely think it's important. I also went to the Christian Book store & bought "Love & Respect: The love she most desires, the respect he desperately needs". I will read this because I love to read and then pass it on to my wonderful fiance (who does not love to read) if it's good. I'll let ya'll know if it's good too.

On to the not-so-wedding stuff, walmart laid off 700-800 people at their home office yesterday (I live in walmart land fyi). This is not good...first of all, walmart is up by 3% from this time last year. second of all, now all these people don't have jobs. third of all, i will be looking for a job in the very near future. if WALMART's firing, who would actually be hiring? blaaaah. this could/does very much stress me out but I'm praying for peace and that God will help me find a job (please pray for this for us!) I know a marriage is hard enough on it's own without having to worry about job situations.

Well, I have a very busy tomorrow - oil change, pack, strawberries, gas, car wash, girls night (where we'll eat the strawberries - all of us are trying to be healthy haha), errand for dad, sam's club, work, laundry...not in that order. I always forget something when I go visit drew - i.e. blow dryer, straightener, pants (i had on work pants but forgot jeans lol) etc hopefully I'll be organized tomorrow and remember EVERYTHING.

cake & centerpieces

Well the bridal fair was a SUCCESS. haha. I ate a lot of cake & enjoyed the margarita man! lol

We did see a new idea for the tables/centerpieces which I am VERY excited about. Also, we spoke with a potential caterer again - and it just makes me realize how soon it will be happening. Woohoo! Can't wait. I hope that everyone has a blast and everything goes smoothly!

We walked a 5 mile uphill walk today & tomorrow I am making myself go to the gym because I now have a workout buddy. She is also a happy hour buddy so I'm hoping we go to the gym lol. I have GOT to get back into the swing of things. I have been eating bad and working out inconsistently (thanks to the ice storm). 2 months, 3 weeks, & 2 days according the the countdown email I received today....ahhh!!

I get to see Drew this weekend! Yay! Well, if anyone has any good arm exercises, please share :)

90 days to go

I decided to started a blog on here so I can continue blogging after we get married & move far far away (lol). I'd love to say this would be our blog but if you are expecting him to write on this thing...don't hold your breath. He said he's just not too into writing...and since I'm never short on words, I will keep you up to date our exciting lives.

Tomorrow is a bridal fair. I'm hoping it's the last one I have to go to. They are fun (kinda). Its pretty awkward when vendors stop you and then don't listen to a word you say...this usually happens a few times throughout the bridal show. Example 1. I guess they are so ready to drone on & on about their business, they don't stop to listen...because if they did, they would know I already have one of you (i.e. photographer). So LISTEN. Example 2. This DJ started bossing me around about what I should do at my own wedding and what I should have etc etc. I was like peace out dude. And I found another DJ. The best part of the bridal fairs is the cake...yum. I already have my cake ordered - but for once, they don't need to know that :)

I took off work on Friday and went to a florist & a caterer...we're waiting on estimates. Mom's making me go to 2 of everything so we have appointments with other caterers & florists. If it were up to me, I'd book the first ones we go to -out of convenience. BUT, I know she's right...Thank God for my mom. She's done so much already. Since I work, I haven't had a lot of time to schedule stuff so she's been awesome about helping out.

I bought some shoes for my dress (by the way dillards is having a shoe sales...I walked away with some extras...for work, of course). I will be able to wear them again so I'm excited about that.

Well, I will let you know how the bridal fair goes. I think everything is finally starting to come together for the wedding. I am so excited!
